Ok I upgraded from a Sportster replay, to the new more attractive sportster 5.

So far big mistake. After about a month the unit stopped broadcasting the fm signal out to my radio.

I use the unit in my garage, car, and my car at work. I have the fm signal plugged in directly to the rear of the radio via the antenna gizmo, and the radio antenna plugged into it.

I received a replacement unit from Sirius warranty, it lasted about 12 hours and then no signal.

Now, I have tried everything. I have talked to the "technical support" which is nothing more than people answering the phone in the Dominican Republic and reading from a script.

I have gone to a local Stereo shop that reps Directed Electronics and had their installers look at my radio. No help, they said the replacement unit is also bad.

The people at Crutchfields stepped up to the plate and even though I was over the 30 period, they said send us the radio and parts, we will send you out a new replacement, that is supposed to be an upgraded unit, still a sportster 5.

ANYONE ELSE HAVE THESE PROBLEMS? ? ? ? ? ?
